the truth and nothing but the truth so help me mom.......
I own a 748 sp and have for only a few months now.
As I already own several of japans finest I thought it was time for a change.
The look, the charisma, the nod of respect (or envy) you get from even the non-biking
fraternity is unmistakable. It is like no other production bike, undeniably
the most beautiful of two wheeled constructions ever to grace the terra-ferma.
The owning of this fine hand-built machine is an experience unto itself.
If you can live with the running costs (£600 service ever 5000-6000 miles),
the neck, back and wrist breaking riding position, the `chance` of the machine
taking early retirement on you and all your friends hating you from the pits
of their alpine stars, then you are rewarded by the symphonic exhaust note,
the sheer addiction of the engine and possibly the best handling road bike on
the planet.
What else is there left to say - if you can afford one buy one
If you cant afford one - marry someone who can.......
Oh and R1s blow hairy donkeys...........
